Wesley Stenzel’s review published on Letterboxd:
With an airtight screenplay and some of the best animated action I’ve ever seen, Kung Fu Panda excels far beyond the average DreamWorks film. It’s not overly complicated, but it tells a great story about destiny and purpose that’s perfect for kids and poignant for adults. Not only does it subvert expectations, it’s also about subverted expectations. The biggest problem: it relies waaay too much on “haha bear is fat” jokes, even turning them into minor plot points. But the dynamic animation and swift pacing make it an incredibly easy watch.
