Salem Scott’s review published on Letterboxd:
While it has plenty of thematic elements to deconstruct, as well as provocative and interesting imagery to spare, the end result is far less profound than it thinks it is. It's ultimately a pretensious slog filled with self-indulgent bullcrap that, if you aren't won over by the unique style and visuals of the film, will leave you tired and underwhelmed.
I'd rather rewatch Salò than endure this film again.
