I agree with some other reviews that it fell a little flat because we didn't really get to know Elisabeth Moss's character besides her being a victim of abuse, but also...the abuse did kind of rob her of her identity? A good thriller nonetheless with some truly 'gasp' moments, and also Aldis Hodge's ARMS. Wish I could have seen this in theaters.

That line made me actually almost spit take. I 'rewound' it like five times. This movie is everything. The femme punk soundtrack, the diy-vibe, the realness of sex and friendships, the openness in dialogue about female sexuality, rape, pregnancy, gender roles, power dynamics. And they all work at a fucking movie theater.
