I don't like this version as much as the 1995 one. I won't say the book was butchered but it does miss the point somewhat. And to put some dialogs in the mouth of other characters, ruining the most precious scene in which Anne debates with Harville and is overheard by Wentwortn, it's unforgivable for me.

Becoming Jane 2007
One knows how it ends, at least if you're familiar with Jane Austen's life, but still one hopes she has an ending like that of her heroines. Anne Hathaway was perfect in her part and McAvoy is always great.
