    A Quiet Place Part II

John Krasinski, wow. All of my expectations were exceeded with the second part of one of my favorite modern horror/sci-fi movies. The editing, usage of sound/no sound and creative but delicate direction made for an anxiety, yet thrilling watch. This has everything to be an unforgettable trilogy if they decide to continue, and please let John direct, he knows what's he's doing.

I've finally finished the first movie of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and I all I have to say is:
    OOOHHH YEEESSSS
I loved it. A story like no other. Always keeping you on the edge of your seat. The smallest of details are so important and have such meaning. The CGI is impeccable, and this a film from the 2000s. Can't wait to watch the other two in the future!

    Lost in Translation

One of the worst films I've ever seen. What a waste of time, no script whatsoever, to the point that it's so random and insignificant. Doesn't leave you with any positive thoughts after watching, just the terrible taste in your mouth. To think this got international praise, pathetic.

Martin Scorcese's best film, his masterpiece.
Easily the best film to demonstrate and talk about faith, struggles and the meaning of one's life.

"Para eu contar a historia da Cidade de Deus, eu tenho que contara historia do Cabeleira, mas para contar a historia do cabeleira eu tenho que contar a historia do trio ternura."

One of the best cinematographic projects ever made. I know you've probably seen the photo of Buscapรฉ and Angelica on the beach more than few hundred times, but for me the soul of the movie isn't the cinematography, it's the exposure of innocence and corruption. Brasil is withoutโ€ฆ

Few people on Earth have the ability to truly tell stories, even more impressive when they are real. Terrence Malick immerses you in every way imaginable way through his movies. A Hidden Life not just does that but throws you into the world. You feel apart of the family. You feel the affection and touch transmitted from Franz and Frani. The breeze from the mountains kilometers away. The texture of the water when somebody splashes their hand in it. Theโ€ฆ

We have nailed our names in the pages of history enough for today.
We hump down to the Perfume River to set in for the night.

Stanley Kubrick gives us a tale for the ages about the never ending discussion of war. Why am I even in this war? What am I doing here with all of these men, killing other people? Do I really care about what I'm doing? Do I even know who I am anymore? What is the final objective of this anyway? Will more blood shed resolve anything?

Every single frame, no exception, is a painting of the highest quality. You feel and get lost in this movie so easily. Just waiting for what's going to happen next and if there will even be a next time. The last two scenes are just so beautiful and riveting in their own ways. This is a film to remember for sure.
