Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood

Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood ★★★★

A bloody fantastic movie, with a few not-insignificant hiccups. Strangely this felt more in line with Jackie Brown than most of Quentin’s (we’re on a first name basis, we’re buds) other stuff - at least most of it. I really enjoyed that though. Every performance is so goddamn good, and the dialogue is as excellent as ever.
The Sharon Tate stuff was much less interesting than everything else to me - it didn’t tie in as much as I might have liked. Plus some pacing issues, but other than that, it’s a goddamn delight. One of my favourites of the year so far for sure.

Also, I want more Mystery Science Theatre with Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth.
