At this point, there is probably nothing I wouldn’t watch that has Helena Bonham Carter in it. She delivers a vulnerable and heart-warming performance.
The film is cliched, of course, as one might expect. Quite flat, rounded but not well-rounded, rushed at times. I thought it super-duper unbelievable that Collette would always react in such a calm, collected way, like a saint. Did I wish it had less praying involved? Absolutely.
