Not my sort of film. But it was nice to see some sign language.

It's hard to know what to make of this film; there's a lot going on. It's impossible to fully understand on the first viewing, and it's made worse by the fact that much of the dialogue is unintelligible.

That said, I love an ambitious film, and this is certainly ambitious, and new, and experimental. Maybe it didn't reach its ambitions, but so what. I enjoyed it a lot, and it's definitely worth watching.

I'm not quite sure what I get out of these films, but I keep watching them.

Better than expected; fun to watch with the nephews (although I didn't expect so many swear words!).

  • Split

    Basically shit.

  • Meet the Patels

    Meet the Patels

It was obvious from a few minutes in how it would end. The main guy is a completely unsympathetic character, although I quite liked his parents. However, it was enjoyable overall.

It was fine. I enjoyed watching it, there were some funny bits and the use of colour was great. But I wouldn't want to see it again in a rush. I liked the food theme. I wasn't really into the songs.

This has almost everything I want from a documentary!

  • Deadpool

It was funny. Like with all superhero films, I got tired with the climactic fight sequence.

  • Allied

Have they CGI'ed Brad Pitt's face? I normally like this kind of stuff, but it wasn't great.

  • Pocahontas

Didn't offer me much at all, beyond some pretty pictures and a decent song or two.
