  Honestly, having a tiled and washable murder basement doesn't seem like a bad idea... it's actually wildly versatile? Indoor slip-n-slide, food fights, sandcastles, murder, pottery throwing, pumpkin carving, Pollock-style sex stuff - all on the table.
