First visit to an indoor movie theatre since March 2020, and I'm glad it was this madman who welcomed me back. I think it's really cool that, after becoming a national laughingstock thanks to such films maudit as The Happening and Lady in the Water, Shyamalan has staged a comeback by leaning absurdly hard into all the tendencies that people used to mock him for. It reminds me of this Dril tweet.

I'll just add that, for personal reasons, I found this film very moving.
