My least favorite genre of video is “YouTube creepypasta” bc of how purposely unsettling they are. So lemme just say my biggest regret going into this movie is not searching up a review of it (since they probably would’ve done provided the creepy context). This movie is fucking terrifying. But also it’s good. Cool infusion of found footage into what could’ve been a generic horror movie.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
(Apologies if this is all over the place, I want to start typing actual reviews but I’m also dogshit at doing that. Bear with me)
I walked out of this movie angry.
I understand the pressure that came with Carrie Fisher’s death and having to end an entire franchise really effected Abrams but so many aspects of this film can not be tied to those influencers.
The movie starts off with a title crawl that describes events I would’ve loved…
