Cute. Fits nicely into the Local Hero and Full Monty subgenre of small town working stiffs trying to figure shit out.

“What if Call Me By Your Name was cold, damp, and smelled of sheep shit?”
Great performances by the two leads. Thought the movie would make the romance more of a sticking point with the family and the small town, working class community, but refreshingly the film stayed focused on the relationship between Johnny and Gheorghe and what it meant for the farm. Felt a little too tidy in the end, but you gotta be happy about where it all…
Funny, harrowing, and gorgeous, The Martian is easily one of Ridley Scott’s best efforts in years. It's a wonderful showcase for all involved, particularly Matt Damon and screenwriter Drew Goddard. Scott has never had trouble attracting acting talent (dat ensemble!), but the director proves once again that he can really do no wrong when paired with a great script. Not top tier Scott by any stretch, but a solid outing.
