#60 for 2020 Halloween Marathon 🎃

The film could've maybe used just a little stronger character work, but aside from that, "The Descent" is such a nail biting, suspenseful, extremely well shot and perfectly self contained horror thriller from director Neil Marshall. It's also well acted and while it's not necessarily the scariest film out there, there's plenty of effective chilling moments that I can only imagine would've been a fun experience back when it first came out in theaters.
