Netflix is really forming a style. The exposition heavy intro feels so familiar in that way. Allison Williams seems to be the draw for the film. She’s not a good actor but she is hot and has a presense on screen. The most interesting moments are in the editing. The intercutting between the cello concert and rest of the date night. Cool stuff.
A roided up Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire release a rap album! Hilarious! Though the concept falls flat at the “visual poem” idea. These are half baked songs over a nonsensical green screen video. I’m not much of a fan of Mike Diva’s trap remixes. Arguably, it’s supposed to be bad. The Bash Brothers making irrational decisions at the height of their fame but this feels rushed right before the Lonely Island’s tour.
