I don't know why, but I just was not invested in this one. I mean the acting is all fine, the setting is eerie and creepy, and the whole setup intrigued me. For some reason though I just never felt all that bothered by the plot, and although I wouldn't say the ending is not a good one, and the film itself certainly not awful, I can't say I didn't feel underwhelmed overall.

I've seen this a few times now, and I'm surprised just how much it still makes me laugh. I mean okay sometimes there's a slight lull, but most of the time this just delivered big laughs. It's crude, it's pretty silly, and maybe not everyone will love it, but if it's your kind of thing, it's a great comedy.

This is the cinematic equivalent of getting a shot of testosterone straight into the neck whilst wanking yourself off with a football scarf.

I mean it's watchable, and the end isn't bad, but I can't say I was exactly interested in the plot. I mean yeah it has its fun moments, but I didn't care too much for the romance, and the mystery didn't interest me until it's fully revealed. The cast are all fine, good choice of David Thewlis as the villain, and it was nice to see Sherlock come in more on the sleuthing, but all in all, whilst it's certainly not a bad film, I can't say I was just quite invested enough.
