Forbidden Planet 1956
This was the forest possible movie to start at 8:30pm on five hours of sleep. Alas.
If I’m being totally honest, I’d love to see a remake of this movie that plays more deeply into the alien race, their downfall, and the vicious nature of being alive and our uncontrollable desires as humans. I think it could work out really well, assuming the score is just as good (and woman-composed!) as the original.

I just about nearly shat myself when I went onto Disney+ and it told me that The Last Jedi wouldn’t be available until December 26th. Then—whoopsies—I remembered that Netflix still existed.
