tuesday's gone evoked by the image of a keg pumping froth. linklater's revisionist history here is that two roads diverged, one that acquiesces to the state and one that resists. don't overthink it -- i agree, but something like everybody wants some reveals there was really never the divergence in the first place. a fantasy of the state for those in life who only make choices between apples and oranges.
