This was the first Malick movie I ever saw, as a high schooler, in the theater, with no context for what to expect. It took me completely off guard, in a way that made me uncomfortable and dismissive at the time. But it stuck with me, and almost certainly completely changed how I thought about movies from that point on.

I'm Thinking of Ending Things 2020
