Aaaaaa I loved this movie, maybe more than it objectively deserves, but it was just so perfect. This feels like 90s cyberpunk for the 2010's.
Loved the aesthetic and the music and just everything about it. Not only is there tons of emotional depth, it has a perfect sense for when to take itself seriously and when to go all-out. Thought-provoking, in the tradition of all good scifi, without compromising its pacing, humor or intensity.
I can't believe this is getting critically panned. Maybe it only appeals to nerdy transhumanists and cyberpunks. (William Gibson liked it, too, so at least I'm in good company here.)
