This movie, in many ways, could be expected to be great - an acclaimed director, a wonderful cast, good music, a good script, and wonderful and consistent cinematography.  yet, there’s something really important that that’s missing from this film - a soul. It’s empty in ways that bring to mind Antonioni’s English film trilogy (most notably Zabriskie Point, a film I love) and yet nothing in this adds up to more than an interesting experience that lost my care and…

Note: I already wrote a review for this film a few days ago, but I've been given the opportunity to write a review for it for my school's newspaper, The Cooper Point Journal. Stunning film. Almost perfect. Wish it was longer, almost! Such a great great experience, can’t recommend enough. Unique as hell.

An underknown short. Very very good. Cannot be under-respected. Go watch it for pride month, it’s genuinely one of my favorite queer films!

One of the most intense and dare I say epic movie experiences I’ve ever had. I’m very glad that I saw this in IMAX. Effectively the version of Dune that the book needed, although Timothee’s acting and the heavy use of hyper cinematic atmosphere over story left a lot of this feeling pretty dry at times. Dune keeps your eyes on the screen the entire time, and I’m definitely going to see the second part when it comes out. Would recommend.
