A like for now due to its creativity, but the film lends itself to be a bit of an example of Kracauer's mass ornament, as a representation of capitalism's logic.

The logic of capitalism lies in the abstraction of the real conditions of our labor. What this film does, and what a multi-verse story does more generally, is offer extreme escapism and thus abstraction of material conditions.

I thought this was about lesbians for the longest times based on the poster. Also, as I was watching the film, I thought it was an intentional remake of Zero for Conduct. WOW truly an awful film in ways I don't even understand.

A guilty pleasure! Re-watching as a adult makes me wonder if I always wanted to be Monique Laroche. (Funny, artistic with fabulous head pieces). Also interesting martial arts sequences.

I turned to softcore in movies to help me understand sex, and you know, get a little titillation.

At first, watching softcore was either by accident or by chance. I watched a…

HE CALLED HIS (REDACTED) THE KRAKEN

I audibly gagged in class and I hoped everyone heard me.

    MISC.
    - Should have let Martine smudge the house.

    - Our prof tried to argue that debt is the narrator of the film. And it was the most confusing argument I've ever heard but also insanely brilliant I love grad school
