even with terrible death and pain constantly just out of frame this is filled with such an overwhelming commitment to the inherent beauty not of life itself necessarily, but in living and in continuing to live. there’s something so moving about the simplicity of not halting everything in order to grieve until you’re far enough removed from your pain, but allowing yourself to continuously grieve while moving forward
