Juan’s review published on Letterboxd:
HEREDITARY is not only very fun but features five stellar performances. I’m slightly baffled that people think this is especially scary (it’s not, but it works as a fascinating and occasionally unsettling work), but it’s always engaging, even when it doesn’t necessarily flow.
Not sure the distribution of mythology throughout the picture prior to its wild climax works perfectly, but I’m curious how it’ll play on rewatch and after some light reading about its mythos. I am also glad that Ari Aster clearly loves ROSEMARY’S BABY as much as me.
