  - Yeah. Every time I hope it's going to be Prince Charming sending me out to scout out Cinderella.

  Lew Harper, played by Paul Newman, is one of the coolest P.I.'s ever, and Conrad L. Hall will always remain one of the greatest D.O.P.'s of all time. I love all those surreal shots in the Temple of the Clouds, especially night ones with the dark, moody silhouettes of the strangers. Super stylish fun.

  A bunch of articulate teens sit around and deconstruct horror movies until Ghostface kills them one by one. It's been done to death. The whole self-aware postmodern meta shit. Stick a fork in 1996, already.

  Well, at least I appreciate self-criticism.

  W obsadzie na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje Baird Stafford – aktor zaledwie dwóch kreacji(...) Tutaj również czyni użytek z ekspresyjnej fizjonomii i to na nim skupia się najmocarniejszy fragment: mozolna amputacja nadgryzionej gangreną nogi. Aby osiągnąć zamierzony efekt, reżyser zasugerował wykonawcy, aby traktował utratę kończyny jako metaforę kastracji.
