Watched with Ferrara's audio commentary. Fuckin hysterical. Had me absolutely howling.

these stars are for mia goth's performance and mia goth's performance ALONE. ESPECIALLY the audition scene & the end credits & the monologue. i can see how the homages and the tributes and the pastiche of it all can be recieved as tiresome/lazy/tacky/obnoxious but it worked fine for me despite there not being that much to rave about with regards to the story itself. it kind of felt like how horrors from the 80s and 90s and even early 00s would harken…
