  I think the big dumb fight works, and the movie is forced to spend time setting up a lot of stuff that works better. I think you could make a pure degree-of-difficulty argument again.

  But I'm not on board with this one. The dialogue is torturous, the quipping feels rote, and Tony's motivation never feels fully formed to me.

  The movie is set everywhere and takes place nowhere. The villain is no one and he has no plan. Paul Rudd is somehow unlikable.

  i watched robocop for the first time on my fortieth birthday

  this is a garth ennis comic but with better jokes

  about half of the acting decisions are completely baffling

  capitalist data driven austerity measures and cops are very important fears to have

  a little hard to swallow the cops as the victims but you know

  everyone in this movie has the laugh of a coked-up hyena

  they straight up love to do a violent act

  i guess hyenas are kind of coked-up by default
