Ed Wood ★★★★

While Depp's is responsible for the pulling Burton's old-timey direction with his performance of the artistically-oblivious, gleeful "Worst Director of All Time" in his ambitious surge to make movies, it's Landu's performance as Legosi that brings the right amount of heart to his role and to Wood's struggle with Hollywood culture with how he embodies the humanity of the man who used to play Dracula. It can be debatable on whether Wood should serve as an inspiration to young filmmaker's but he can be symbolic of the message to "never give up" as his position is propelled by Alexander and Karaszewkski's writing.
