Sleep inducing. No depth nor insight into any character or any of the uninteresting plot lines, just the occasional flash of brilliance from Bergman.

Every piece fits. Every choice is carefully considered. I already can’t wait to watch this again. Genuinely feels an hour long but it’s still so layered and ambitious - echoing elements of QT’s previous work but more importantly with an electric beat of it’s own that’s so different from his others. His masterpiece in my books.

Stepping out of the shadows to the showery, gloomy glisten of Gotham’s streets, Matt Reeves carries a complementing tone of self confidence that only enhances the blockbuster experience. The Batman to Bruce equilibrium is on the surface one sided, but differently to other representations, Bruce’s emotion is genuinely envisioned through Batman’s eyes - the source of Bruce’s pain and the sacrifices he must make for the good of Gotham. Truly a gritty and refreshing triumph, proving to really be THE Batman.

An extraordinary crossover between “Gladiator”, ”Come and See” and “Game of Thrones” coming from the director of “The Lighthouse”. Exactly as you’d expect from a combination of these - brutal, manic and relentless - but with the addition of psychedelic rituals, nude fighting and wolf howling. Mental film.
