hey i kinda liked this

i cannot put into words the anger i felt towards the woman's anti-science bs i stg

kind of another example of a movie that didn't age very well like damn i should've watched these as a kid not when i'm an adult and hyperaware of problematic shit and overused action scenes

filme excelente e muito boa escolha para candidatura apresentada aos óscares pelo cinema português. pena que a experiência tenha sido parcialmente arruinada pelo trabalho de legendagem do mesmo. a falta de cuidado na revisão é inqualificável e dá um péssimo nome à indústria da tradução audiovisual portuguesa

i never felt so connected to a movie character than when frances tries to pay for dinner and her card gets rejected and she has to go find an ATM and she finds one that charges fees and there go 3 badly spent dollars and then she trips and falls as she runs back to the restaurant to pay in cash and her date is like "frances, you're bleeding"

the screaming made my ears hurt

apologies to any filmbros this might offend. i know my low ratings of "classics" may get annoying but holy shit i am clearly not the audience for this type of thing. i stg i wanna watch these super well-known gangster/mobster movies just to feel the least knowledgeable in the field of film but most of them are like 2 and a half to 3 hours long and they're always so gd BORING i end up fast forwarding through the whole thing bc i just can't wait for it TO END why do people rate these so highly i'll never understand
