i never felt so connected to a movie character than when frances tries to pay for dinner and her card gets rejected and she has to go find an ATM and she finds one that charges fees and there go 3 badly spent dollars and then she trips and falls as she runs back to the restaurant to pay in cash and her date is like "frances, you're bleeding"

listen. i forgot which of the sisters i most resembled, so i spent the whole movie thinking about it, until that scene in the attic when i nearly screeched in the theather and just KNEW
