Well written and edited to leave a great story that doesn’t have extra without feeling rushed. Some of the cgi animal scenes were so unintentionally funny- like the snake.
I feel a few different ways about this hunter wanting the best prey but then having such high tech stuff that it’s mostly not a fair fight, but I appreciated that it was counterbalanced with time highlighting the traditional technology of medicinal plants and hunting and the such.
One of the most quotable movies ever. Such a great comedy that is both appropriate for most families and for adults. I good date night movie.
All three endings at once can make it a little confusing for first time viewers/ takes away from the believability of the ending.
As a child I took the ending to mean he wasn’t actually gay, but now that I’m an adult I like to read it as ‘protesting too much’.
My one problem would be a spoiler, so I’ll just say what I liked. Obviously this isn’t high brow cinema, but it’s super fun.
