    Cadaver

    ★½

Cadaver is an aesthetically pleasing film to look at. I didn't care about any of the characters at all but at least they were all competent0. The story had a nice mystery element for awhile involving the stage play and what's real or what's not but it never went anywhere. People go to a hotel and many go missing. Alot of time is spent walking slowly through red lit hallways. Ppl wear cool bronze colored masks.

    Truthfully I was more…

    Tremors: Shrieker Island

    ★★

The blue and green tints used in most if the film make the jungle environment look great. Michael Gross was good again as ole gun toting, graboid slaying Burt Gummer! I thought the additions of Richard Brake and Jon Heder were cool but I felt like they were both underused. Loved seeing Jackie Cruz and Cassie Clare kicking shrieker ass(again both underused)! Btw the CGI shriekers looked SY FY bad and not in a silly Sharknado kinda way.

At this point we need Kevin Bacon to return in one of these...

"No tears please, its a waste of good suffering"

Been some years since I watched this one. Hellraiser 3 has always my favorite(only seen the first 4 films and the last 2 films in the series). For some reason I never remember much about the first two films. So here I am!

Ashley Lawrence is pretty hot. The practical effects are gloriously gooey and gory. Uncle Frank is a terrible person and so is stepmother Julia, they are the real…

    "No evil deed goes unpunished"

Easily one of the best horror anthologies in years! Mean spirited stories, vibrant colors, lush settings for each story, some blood n guts, and Clancy Brown was delightfully devilish as the mortician in the center of it all.

The tone of the film was very unique. Has a goosebumps vibe to it but with a hard R rating for adult content and gore. A solid twist and a hell of a wraparound story sold me even more on this one.
