  This is my introduction to Sofia Coppola’s work, and all I can say is I’m definitely invested in her talents. This film, although appearing dreamy and mesmerising, withheld so many dark and depressing layers, which I thought was done with immense thought. The entire aesthetic actually was probably my favourite part, as it just perfectly captured the emotions and the sheer melancholia of the plot.
