YI JIAN’s review published on Letterboxd:
Those forgotten by history already take up 1500 feet, and it's not yet finished.
Murals depicting the american life and the immigrants' struggle, murals as product of mankind's urge to expose, to create and fill an empty canvas with colors, trees, faces, expressions of joy, pride and sorrow. Through the eyes of Agnes Varda, murals became the heart of a city, its centerpiece, its identity. She had a knack for forming the most adequate and poetic sentences to describe beauty, it's a fantastic talent, what I would give to have a chance to speak with her for just a few seconds, a simple salut, a gentle handshake.
