Saw this at the Loft Cinema, part of their Women of Horror series. When she picked up the skateboard, a girl behind me whispered "yes queen," then her friend quietly added "fuck it up." They had less to say later when she killed a random, apparently homeless person.
There's a scene in this film in a bathroom where a bag of cough drops is partially obscured so we see "UGH OPS" in big letters, and that's what this movie is to me: a professional, tactical psychological operation designed to make everyone in the theater around me go "ugh" and cringe and say "jesus" audibly and look at the screen through their fingers, while I mostly had a big smile on my face. Also, probably the first time I've seen the word "shitpost" in a movie; seems important.
