More like Boring. Nah I kid because the movie is long. But it's good. But too long. Seeing a movie, like this, where someone gets repeated phone calls and no one answers when they pick up, it's enough to make a guy wonder why we ever allowed telephones into our homes, our pockets, and our lives. I'm no tech skeptic, but you see enough stories where phones, still being used according to their design, are actual torture devices, and ya gotta ask: what were we thinking?

Everyone, I mean everyone, in this movie is white. Maybe take your family to see it this holiday season, if they're conservative or centrist or even liberal, but I can already hear what your Christian relatives will say, that this is just one person's account of one place that must be an outlier while the rest are good actually. Sort of like when I saw Spotlight and afterward someone I was with was like, "Well what about all the other religions?" Then again they also went on to say that the real problem was with men, so they wound up being right, too.

This film is, among other things, but first and foremost, a cautionary tale about becoming Extremely Online.

I did not care for that Thom Yorke music. The only good Radiohead song is the one Dan Harmon ad-libbed on his podcast ("I got a radio HEEEAD").

These stars are mostly for the feeling I got when I googled Lutz Ebersdorf while the credits were still rolling in the theater. Tilda Swinton is the performer so talented that she cannot play only one role per film. It's enough to make me wonder who else she really was in Doctor Strange, which gave me an idea: have her appear as Stan Lee in all future Marvel movies. Excelsiorum!
