The MCU has extended to mind numbing proportions. The themes of futility and desperation are surprisingly unique and compelling, but maybe ease up on the overblown fight scenes and needlessly climactic character arcs.
A meditation on raising children and the ills of aging in the form of some sort of escapist fantasy. Tully takes us to the height of motherhood exhaustion and gives us a therapeutic release – ending with a spotlight on the quiet joys in life.
It’s funny and endearing – what more can you ask?
