  Comically bad, but pretty entertaining, but still truly unbearable at times. The concept for the story wasn't bad, there were some nice ideas here. However, the execution just left me baffled. The writing was utterly, utterly bad. The characters, instead of acting like normal people, spoke like they knew they were in a time-bending horror movie.   The Initiation 1984

  A little messy and illogical, but the mystery was pretty engaging. I loved the mall setting in the second half. The cast of characters was decent enough and I wanted to know what was the deal with the main girl and her dreams (usually an annoying trope, but there weren't any overly long dream sequences here). It was so cozy in its silliness and with all those common tropes. I would recommend this to people who like old slashers.
