loved it. a look inside the brain of any person that holds cinema near to their heart. a messy dream-like compilation of hundreds of title cards that in split seconds bring back the emotion of watching the actual film. it uses random words to create questions and thoughts often articulated in movies. it’s a ridiculously clever film, it encapsulates most if not everything cinema entails, how we store it in our heads, how we resonate with it, how we consume it and which movies stand out amongst the crowd. it’s long, and a bit overwhelming at times, but it’s attention grabbing and filled with little references within the endless chaos of scratches and light that remind you of the excitement of watching that particular film you didn’t think would show up and the anticipation of waiting for others to pop up on the screen.
