Username was an April Fools joke, but I decided to keep it.
This is probably going to be the "Angela Moss" of 2020 movies: general agreement that the acting is incredible, and a whole spectrum of different opinions about the writing.
Not that my own thoughts on whether Angela worked as character or not on Mr. Robot necessarily reflect my thoughts on the movie. It's just that seeing everyone's reactions to the film so far reminded me of the discussions that I've seen on her role in that show.

Maika Monroe gives a pretty good performance. Most of the cast is decent (some of the extras like the soldiers were bad though). Dan Stevens, as usual, is entertaining as hell. There are some dumb moments in terms of directing that are... well they reminded of that Death Note movie.
There are some flaws but honestly, I think the acting and the script really make this movie work. I've had fun.
100% more enjoyable than Legion (that Noah Hawley show) and Death Proof.

Luckily this awesome company moved on after this mess and made classics such as Aloha, Jack & Jill, The Interview, Grown Ups 2, SLENDER MAN, A Dog's Way Home, The Emoji Movie, The Tourist, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, The Angry Birds Movie, The Ghostbusters remake, Pixels and The Amazing Spiderman movies!
Just watch Bohemian Rhapsody and Gotti instead, this movie's too complicated and depressing.
