Zachary Dragu’s review published on Letterboxd:
This mostly just feels like a weaker version of Melancholia. Both came out in 2011, both are slow-paced and depressing, both feature an inevitable apocalypse, both focus on how a select few characters choose to spend their final hours on Earth. The biggest difference is how well they each pull it off.
Willem Dafoe carries the whole movie on his shoulders.
