The SPLENDOR of killer shark films. 

I enjoyed this far more than I should have. I mean, it’s literally a homoerotic dude-bro love fest/hang out flick with Susan George as an awkward third wheel...and then a hungry shark shows up in the final act. That said, Stiglitz and Garcia are practically naked or in speedos for most of the film which was a definite plus. It really is an easy, sun baked watch that I feel I might revisit with some frequency. The horror elements are shit, though, in case you were wondering. 

I know there’s an over two hour version that isn’t included on the recent Kino/Scorpion blu, which is a bummer. I’m sure two hours of this nonsense is probably extremely boring, but I can’t help but feel I could’ve watched four hours of Steven and Miguel laughing together and trading longing glances between one another.
