Predatory/Vengeful Women

Part of a larger project, etc., etc. Criteria for inclusion: narratives heavily dependent on women characters exacting some kind of revenge on men (or, the patriarchy), with woman-directed films getting top priority, as well as examples from within or at the periphery of art cinema and films directed by "significant" "auteurs." (This is simply to keep the list manageable and ensure relevance of the trend in the context I'm focusing on.) Oh, and also as examples correspond with different genres.

The interest stems out of an observation of significant differences in how these female-revenge narratives play out—generally speaking, narratively and formally—depending on the gender of the director.
