Zach’s review published on Letterboxd:
A f’ing brutal sequel that delivers as the perfect second part of a trilogy. Providing gruesome kills that get more violent as the film progresses. A literal non-stop Horror thrill ride that builds on the legend of Michael Myers. It’s not going to win over anyone that didn’t like the 2018 version, or people who just don’t get what so appealing about this franchise. I can see some people feeling like this was pointless, but going into it with the knowledge that this is a second part to a trilogy really helps. It has thrilling and heartless slasher kills from Michael, and even has some hilarious moments behind the dark atmosphere of the film. The near-perfect Halloween film. Both for the franchise, and for the holiday.
