Zachary’s review published on Letterboxd:
The music, the comedy, the acting, and the set design are all perfect. I’ve seen a lot of Emma Stone and this is without a doubt my favorite work from her. Haven’t seen as much of Weisz or Coleman but I doubt I’d find better of them either. My only problem with The Lobster was that I felt no connection to the characters but that is absolutely not a problem here. Yorgos structures this so expertly in a way that builds the tension while balancing the humor. I was constantly switching from laughing out loud to holding my breath. I knew this was going to be my type of film as soon as I saw the trailer and it did not disappoint, I’m just ready to see it again!
