Simply incredible. I recommend watching it with someone else. An instant classic and one of my new favourite action movies. Going to rewatch it with as many friends as I can.

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
Joyful cinema !
I agree with some of the reviews here stating that the emotional core of the movie, although beautiful, could have felt more meaningful had the characters been more nuanced by the end of the story. They can feel a little remote, because of how much focus is put on the craziness of it all instead of the nuances of the humans portrayed. I can also see why some people are growing tired of the tiger mom trope…

Apparently I'm in the minority here, but damn that felt pretentious and quite empty.
I usually am a sucker for bizarre movies that turn into gigantic psychological mindfucks, but that one wasn't grounded on anything else than the very simple, very much already done over and over concept of "I am a teenage boy and I don't know what to do with my desires/hate for women/myself".
One of my main problems was also that the theme could still have worked… -
The Truth 2019
I really adore Catherine Deneuve.
The end was a bit dragging and felt like a long series of epilogues, but otherwise the film was a great heartfelt family drama à la Koreeda, with plenty of moments bringing compassionate tears to my eyes or playful smiles to my lips. It entered my heart.
