    Godard’s worst enemy is Godard.

This man can direct the hell out of a movie. The visual style of this is extremely unique and genuinely very impressive. The camera movements and sets are truly amazing, I was surprised to see this type of visual inventiveness in a Godard movie. The Blair Witch Project

    ★★★★★

I think that after dozens of horror movies, I can say that The Blair Witch Project is the most terrifying one of all.

The sensation I had after this finished was unlike anything any other movie has given me. I felt my blood run cold in my veins. I got chills similar to the ones I got after Texas Chainsaw but these ones felt way too real. The final 20 minutes had moments where I literally thought I was going…

    Fear Street: 1994

    ★★

Stranger Things was one of the best things to happen in television in recent years, but it was one of the worst things to happen to film.

Fear Street is a prime example of a project doing the bare minimum to differentiate itself and instead focusing all of its energy into being the next Stranger Things. Coy romance, ragtag group of kids who can’t go the police because reasons(?), nostalgia through visuals, music that doesn’t fit at all but is…
