Zane’s review published on Letterboxd:
Joyous and lighthearted. The cinematic equivalent to the pure feeling of being infatuated and dancing with the bright sun warming your face in the summer. Definetly lacks the melancholic and darker tone that The Umbrells of Cherbourg mastered so well when it juxtaposed that against its bright colors, but Rochefort bathes itself in the very feeling those same colors give out to show the other side of yearning for a love that's just out of reach. Jacques Demy was something else.
I can't wait to write about this for my french class!
