Madame X: An Absolute Ruler 1977
maaan i love the aesthetics and atmosphere of this so much, but it’s really unnecessarily drawn out and surprisingly unengaging for a lesbian pirates movie (and arthouse directors doing adventure movies is one of my favorite genres otherwise)
there’s a masterpiece somewhere in here i’m sure -

been sitting on my hdd since its release and it has now found me at a time of my life when i needed it the most
astonishing stuff. casey no cap gives one of the like three greatest performances i’ve ever seen
