    Meh, not the worst, not the best. The miniature work and fights are kind of middling in the wider scheme of the series. The human plot isn't bad, but it's not really notable either. The alien plots tend to be a little lazier than the others, especially in this era of the series.

    Highlights: the Titanosaurus suit is incredible - maybe the best kaiju suit pre-Heisei Gamera. Some cool tracked shots in the kaiju fights. Amazing 70's suits and haircuts…

    Not what I expected at all, but definitely not for the worse. Hamaguchi plays a pretty strong tribute to Sang-Soo's formula of fleeting romance, unspoken feelings, repetition, and peculiar editing or unexpected elements set against the backdrop of a small cast of characters mostly sitting and talking.
