• The Cat Returns

    The Cat Returns

The fluid animation and modern style make this movie interesting and independent despite being a spin-off of Whisper of the Heart. It maintains the attention to detail and beautiful scenery that are Ghibli staples but has a really unique charm that make it really stand out for me. Goofy, slightly more mature humour and some really fantastic expressions help the movie forge its own path while still staying true to the Ghibli style.

Any movie that tries or ever has tried to convey a philosophical concept should be taking notes

  • Tremors

Terrible movie but worth watching purely because of how sexy the main characters are.

  • Pitch Black

    Pitch Black

This was really fun but I feel like the visual effects during the movies first act are too half-baked to make them seem artful or even just cool. The main highlight was how Vin Diesel somehow manages to still look sexy despite wearing tiny goggles for 90% of the movie.

  • Smiling Friends

    Smiling Friends

This is fine but the fact that IMDB rates it higher than Spirited Away is proof that you should never let a company influence your decision on anything ever

  • Frozen II

    Frozen II

Extremely Disney but had some fun scenes and some genuinely beautiful animation. I like the bit where they made Elsa asexual and also the avatar?

Did the movie look good? Absolutely. Could I tell you what it was about? Absolutely not.
